My life - My Garden

I will start with bad news and move onto good news....

Part of my garden has been destroyed. My precious brussel sprout leaves were a meal for some critter. I am not sure if the plants are going to live......I am SO pissed and disappointed. It happened overnight. I hope some animal out there has a REALLY bad stomach ache!

Here is my favorite summer meal. I usually go to the local garden stand and buy fresh tomatoes....not this year!! Straight from the garden!! Goat cheese, really good balsamic vinegar and my fresh tomatoes. I made happy mouth noises the whole time I was eating this!!

That stinks. The same thing happened to my garden, and I have a dog.

I have two dogs....one 120 pounds and one 25 pounds and they STILL came into my yard. Brave or stupid animals, I'm not sure. But they do have full stomaches, that's for sure!

I ALWAYS UPDATE THIS - SO CHECK BACK OFTEN! Things I like to have in my kitchen

Balsamic Vinegar (a really good vinegar - good enough to take a swig every so oftern!)
Cans of black beans and dark kidney beans
Dorot frozen herbs - in cubes. Garlic and basil are my favorites
Eggs
Flour tortilla - I like the non-fat kind, but they are hard to find
Kosher Salt - for adding to food as it is cooking
Low or no sodium chicken broth
Low sodium soy sauce
Mark's Feed Store original bbq sauce
My phone with internet access to look up restaurants and place orders for pick up
Non stick tin foil
Onions
Oven puller bought at Sunset - only $4!
Panko crumbs
Potatoes
Rice Cooker
Rice Wine Vinegar
Sea Salt I like fresh ground right at the end of cooking something - like roasted vegis
Shredded cheese
Sushi Rice
Tin foil pans
